Macworld 2009 officially kicked off on Monday January 5, 2009 but the expo really gets into gear on Tuesday January 6 when Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing Philip W. Schiller delivers the opening keynote at the event.
It's now 2008 and the latest installment of the annual Macworld Expo is upon us. As we look back on the prior year, it's clear that 2007 was the year of the iPhone. Apple shook the core of the wireless handset industry when Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone at last year's Macworld keynote. Macworld 2008 will give us the first insight into Apple's strategy for the upcoming year and beyond. Rest assured that Apple will place a major emphasis on the Mac. It's my view that 2008 will be the Year of the Mac.
Today's Macworld 2007 Keynote address by Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs although exciting thanks to the preview of the iPhone, the announcement of the Apple TV, and the addition of Paramount movies to the iTunes Store, left much to be desired.

On Tuesday October 3, 2006 IDG World Expo announced that Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer will deliver the opening keynote address at the 2007 Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco California on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Moscone West.
The 2006 Macworld Expo kicks off today with Steve Jobs's Keynote address at 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern. The rumors and expectations surrounding the keynote have been picking up the past few days. Here's a quick overview of the latest rumors:
