Fortune: Mac sales up 30% this quarter
Fortune magazine reports that Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster informed clients yesterday that the firm estimates that Apple will sell between 2.8 and 2.9 million Macs during its fiscal fourth quarter which ends September 30.
Mac growth decelerating?
The article then goes on to mention that Munster's projection would equate to a year-over-year deceleration in Mac unit growth. Munster is said to have given two reasons for this slowing growth, expectations of a Mac refresh and the 'weak consumer environment'.
