TVWeek reports that customers of Apple's iTunes have downloaded 4 million Disney movies and television shows.  Disney CEO Bob Iger stated the following at his Monday keynote speech at the TelecomNext show in Las Vegas:

"That data point is indicative of the biggest change in the TV business"

Overall, Apple's iTunes service is changing the content delivery model to a user controlled model.  Customers have the ability to control what they view and when they want to view it.  They can view content on their televisions, computers, and on their iPods.  It's truly a view anywhere-anytime model.

This data from Disney demonstrates strong demand and acceptance of Apple's iTunes distribution strategy for media.
