The Mac mini has been MIA from the Refurbished Mac section of the Online Apple Store the past few weeks. As I've been looking to get one for development work, I noticed today that Apple has a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server available for $849. A 3-5 business day shipping time frame is listed.
Amazon is currently offering the Mac OS X Snow Leopard Family Pack Upgrade (5-Users) for just $36.49, a price that qualifies for free shipping and checks in at a 25 percent reduction below the $49 list price.

Following today's announcements WWDC announcements that included the re-branding of the 13-inch MacBook as a MacBook Pro, the release of new 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro models and a MacBook Air update, it's expected that the 2009 Back To School promotion will be subjected to increased interest from education buyers due to lower prices across the Mac portable lineup.
