Apple today released Mac OS X 10.6.3, the third maintenance update to the Snow Leopard operating system for Intel-based Macs. The update included numerous fixes since the November 2009 10.6.2 update and it also includes the January 2010 security update. The update is recommended for all Snow Leopard users (client and server) and can be obtained via Mac OS X Software Update or downloaded directly from Apple.
At the onset of today's notebook event Apple CEO Steve Jobs quickly handed the presentation over to Tim Cook, Apple's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Cook gave a presentation titled, 'State of the Mac' which provided insight into Mac momentum. Cook started off by stating that Apple is growing at 2-3 times the market growth rate. He then listed reasons why Apple believes that they are growing at this rate.
On Monday September 15, 2008 Apple released Mac OS X 10.5.5, the fifth maintenance update to the Mac OS X Leopard operating system. The update is recommended for all users of Mac OS X 10.5.x.
According to the Amazon Bestsellers in Software list (filtered by operating system), we can report on another Vista disappointment. Although Microsoft officially stopped selling Windows XP on June 30, 2008 retailers are allowed to sell any copies the have on hand. The Amazon rankings speak loud and clear as Windows XP is outselling Vista.

On Wednesday May 28, 2008, Apple released the third update to the Mac OS X Leopard operating system that takes the version to 10.5.3. Client and Server versions of the update are available.
