Apple to report Q2 2009 quarterly earnings on April 22 - will factor in several product refreshes during the first three months of 2009
Apple will report Q2 2009 earnings following the close of the US stock market on April 22, 2009. A earnings conference call will also be conducted at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT. The results will highlight earnings, Mac shipments, iPod shipments, and iPhone shipments for the first three months of calendar 2009.
Key Apple product refreshes and updates during the quarter
The earnings report will factor in several product updates and refreshes that occurred during the quarter including:
The earnings release will provide insight into Mac desktop shipments that have experienced declines over the past two fiscal quarters and three out of the past four quarters. Although desktop refreshes were released in the final month of the quarter, Mac shipment data will provide insight into purchasers willingness to buy Apple desktops after an extended refresh interval.
