Tomorrow is the big day.  For months now people have been anticipating the release of new Mac notebooks.  That anticipation ends tomorrow when Apple conducts an invitation-only event as they shine the 'spotlight' on new Mac portables.  The event kicks off at 10AM Pacific in Cupertino, California.

  • potential case redesigns
  • NVIDIA chipsets and CPUs
  • Blue-ray support
  • lower price points
It's expected that Apple will revamp the entire notebook line of currently consisting of the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air.  A leaked Apple support document surfaced this past weekend that calls out "Late 2008" MacBook and MacBook Pro models.  Since the current generation models (as of this writing) are referred to by Apple as 'Early 2008' models.  The document has now been pulled and is no longer available at Apple's web site.
