Apple releases Mac OS X 10.5.3

On Wednesday May 28, 2008, Apple released the third update to the Mac OS X Leopard operating system that takes the version to 10.5.3.  Client and Server versions of the update are available.  The update is recommended for all users running Leopard and includes general operating system fixes, security fixes,  as well as fixes for the following:
  • Address Book
  • AirPort
  • Automator
  • iCal
  • iChat
  • Mail
  • Parental Controls
  • Spaces
  • Time Machine
  • VoiceOver

Installing the update
You only need to use one of two methods to update your Mac, use Software Update or the standalone installer.

New Feature for iPhone users
The Mac OS X Address Book application in Mac OS X 10.5.3 now lets iPhone users sync their Address Book with Google Contacts.
