The update addressed a flaw where subscribing to a maliciously crafted photocast could allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary code on a Mac. The update also improves the stability of iPhoto and fixes some other issues.

iPhoto 7.1.2 is available as a free update for all iLife '08 users.  It can be obtained using the Mac OS X Software Update utility or as downloadable installer from the Apple Support Web site.
