Apple reduces Back-To-School iPod rebate amount by up to $90 - new iPods not eligible

As expected, Apple today updated the Terms and Conditions of the 2008 Back-To-School promotion following the release of new iPods.  The maximum rebate amount declines by $90 to $209.

Apple states the following on the Back to School (BTS) Frequently Asked Questions page:

'The iPod models introduced on September 9, 2008 are not eligible for this promotion. iPod classic and iPod shuffle are also not eligible.'
