Apple launches the Apple Outlet
Apple has re-branded the "Special Deals" section of the online Apple Store to the new and improved "Apple Outlet". The outlet is the place to shop for certified and refurbished Apple products at discount.
Apple states the following:
"Guaranteed Apple quality.
Before we put a pre-owned Mac, iPod, or Apple TV up for sale in the Apple Outlet, it undergoes a rigorous refurbishment process to make sure it's up to Apple's tough quality standards. We back it with our standard one-year limited warranty. And you have the option of purchasing an AppleCare Protection Plan for it."
