Potential Switchers: What feature(s) would you like to see in Mac OS X Leopard that would ease your decision to switch?
We would like to know what feature(s) you would like to see included in Apple's next operating system, Mac OS Leopard (version 10.5) that ease your decision to make the switch.
Apple has indicated that Leopard will pounce sometime in October 2007 and the company will preview a near final release of the software at WWDC 2007. If the feature isn't included in Mac OS X Leopard, what feature(s) would you like to see included in a future release of the Mac operating system?
Please share your thoughts, concerns, and/or commentary in the comments section below.

A better file browser! The column thing is novel, but it's easy to get lost just browsing files! I prefer the FULL path always showing up in the file browser, no matter how you arrived at a file.
Ok, I'm a recent switcher. Minor things irk me, but otherwise OS X rocks!
Here's my list:
1. Alt+Tab will have to switch to a minimized app
2. Allow 'cut' operation with files in Finder
3. Keyboard shortcuts for minimizing/ maximizing a window
4. Enable control tabbing by default!
5. Need a builtin mspaint like program
6. Standards support for Safari
7. Option to create a new file in Finder using right click
8. 'Get Info' on multiple files to show just one info pane and not 100!!!
Yo, Sunflowerflyer,
Good list. Funny I never thought of needing an MSPaint typa program, because I've ALWAYS had various graphics apps anyway, but your right.
As far as your No. 8, thought you might wanna know that Apple + Option + i = your request.
Its also dynamic, so if you select a file to view info, then select another it changes accordingly. Enjoy
The Blue Screen of Death!! HAHAHA!! As a Mac switcher (june 06), I am totally impressed with the mac platform. It has made computing fun again and I've been a PC person since the days of DOS. I don't like using my PC anymore....my MacBook Pro 17 is just so hot!
Here are my sugesstions.
1. Being able to rezise a window on any edge o the window.
2. Better keyboard shortcuts, discoverable menu shortcut eg
Forgot to add the following
Java 1.6 support.
By the way I have already switched, about a year ago, first a G4 MacMini, and now an Intel MacBook.
what about getting some ingenious features back from OS9 before looking at Windows. Back in the days when a picture or a file was downloaded (or drag&dropped) from a webbrowser, the URL of the image/file was automatically stored in the info window. Why on earth did Apple get rid of this awesome feature???
sunflowerflyer, re #2, hold down option (apple key) while you drag files around. It does the same thing as cut.
It's not exactly the same as Ctrl+X, but it's as close as we can get now :)

From a Finder window, hold down the Command key and click the icon at the top centre of the window to reveal the file's full pathway.
