Apple updated the iMac line on Monday April 28, 2008. We have created a Quick Comparison Chart to highlight the upgrades when compared to the prior models released in August 2007.

All posted information is based on stock configurations, not built-to-order customizations
Upgrades / improvements are highlighted in purple
Specifications of older models obtained from Apple
Other Notes
- Price on the top-of-the-line model has dropped despite faster processor, RAM, and graphics
- Dimensions of the enclosure and ports have have remained the same
- All models come with 8X double-layer slot loading SuperDrive
