Google changes its icon to a lowercase 'g'
Is a Google rebranding in the works? or those of you who haven't noticed, Google changed their “Favicon.ico”, (the little image file that is shown in your browser address bar and in bookmarks) to a lower case 'g' from uppercase 'G'.
No longer do you see the green, red, and blue edges surrounding a blue uppercase 'G'. The two logos are shown below (magnified):
To see this in your browser simply visit Google.com. Note that you may need to empty your browser cache and reload to see it. So what's up with the new logo?
Will Apple follow suit?
What if Apple followed suit and changed their 'Apple' icon to a cranapple! Just kidding
