Help, Guides, and News on making the Switch To Apple Macintosh Computers
Buy a new Mac get iLife '09 for $9.95 via the iLife '09 Up-to-Date Program
Apple has announced the iLife '09 Up-to-Date program, a benefit to Mac buyers who have purchased or will purchase a qualifying Mac computer prior to the to the official release of iLife '09. The program allows these buyers to upgrade iLife '08 for a mere $9.95 a substantial savings off the $79 retail price. Apple recently announced iLife '09 at Macworld 2009 and indicated that it would be available by the end of the month.
How the program works
If you purchased more than one qualifying Mac on a single invoice, you have the option to
(1) purchase a Single-User Upgrade Kit for each qualifying product, at a cost of US$9.95; or
(2) purchase fewer Single-User Upgrade Kits and request the Right to Copy for the remaining qualifying products.
The up to date program will offer an incentive for buyers to purchase their systems now as opposed to waiting for the release of iLife '09.
Customers who purchase a qualifying new Mac computer or an Apple Certified Refurbished computer on or after January 6, 2009, that does not include iLife '09 can upgrade to iLife '09 for US$9.95 plus tax.*You can download the order form (PDF) or view the Terms and Conditions here.
The program ends on March 28, 2009. Your order must be postmarked or faxed by April 3, 2009, and received by April 10, 2009, so order your upgrade now.
