The new 24-inch iMac can be configured with either a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor or a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme processor while the 20-inch model is available with either a 2.0GHz or 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor.  Apple eliminated the 17-inch model.  The new iMac models are priced $200 to $300 cheaper than their predecessors. The new casing replaces the white plastic facade found on older models and now match the aluminum enclosure found on the professional Mac Pro desktop and MacBook Pro laptop.

New Keyboard
Apple has also released a redesigned keyboard for the iMac as shown.  The wireless version of the keyboard currently shows a 3-5 week shipping timeframe.
