Help, Guides, and News on making the Switch To Apple Macintosh Computers
Apple to conduct media event on September 9 - iPods, iTunes, and Snow Leopard to share the stage?
All Things Digital has reported that Apple will be conducting a media event on Wednesday, September 9th in San Francisco. The venue is most likely the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts a setting where Apple has previously announced iPod and iTunes updates.
Expectations for the event:
At the 2009 Worldwide Developers Conference this past June, Apple announced that Mac OS X will ship this September. Therefore, Apple may decide to use the September 9th event to announce the availability of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the latest version of the Mac operating system.
What about Apple TV?
There's a possibility that Apple may announce something related to the Apple TV, a product that hasn't been updated since January 2008.
Interestingly enough, the event takes place the day after the expiration of the 2009 Back to School Promotion. You can read the All Things Digital story here.
