Apple Releases 8GB iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition
Just three weeks after releasing the 4GB iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition, Apple Computer expanded the (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition iPod line by adding an 8GB version priced at $249.
This new model offers buyers a second color to the 8GB second-generation iPod nano line, previously only available in black. In their press release announcing the product, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing stated:

The new 8GB iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED will be available through the Apple Store® (www.apple.com) beginning today and in Apple’s retail stores this weekend. All iPod nano models include redesigned earbud headphones providing superior comfort, fit and sound quality, and a USB 2.0 cable. The second generation iPod nano features up to 24 hours of battery life and completely skip-free playback.
