Apple issues invites for Jan. 27 media event to show off 'latest creation' - Tablet device expected
Sites including Engadget and Arstechnica indicate that Apple has sent out invitations for a media event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco scheduled for 10:00 AM Pacific Time on January 27th. Below the invite graphic the tag line reads "Come see our latest creation."
The January 27th event was rumored earlier this month when it was first reported by the Wall Street Journal's Digital Daily site. Apple has long been rumored (years!) to have been working on a tablet-like device. The media event on the 27th will likely bring an end to this speculation as Apple executives including CEO Steve Jobs are expected to unveil the device. Let the countdown begin!
