Apple's iTunes Music Store has more content to sell to a larger base of consumers thanks to an extended partnership with The Walt Disney Co.
Disney announced that it would sell programming from ESPN, ABC Sports, ABC News and other channels through iTunes. This announcement expands the offering that kicked off Apple's video-capable iPod back in October 2005. The new deal came on the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show and less than a week before the MacWorld 2006 Conference and Expo. All shows can be downloaded for $1.99 per episode.
The new content ranges from condensed college football bowl games previously broadcast on ABC to classic shows.
