Great news for the upcoming Mac OS X Leopard operating system. In a July 30, 2007 post to the Enterprise Mac blog at InfoWorld, Tom Yager details that Mac OS X has attained UNIX 03 certification.

On Wednesday July 25, 2007, Apple Inc. released financial results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter (Q3 2007). Apple sold a total of 1.764 million Macs during the quarter representing 42 percent growth in Mac sales versus the year ago quarter (Q3 2006).
Dale Frantz, CIO of Auto Warehousing Co. (AWC) has made a strategic IT decision for the company - switch to Macs. Computer World published an article/interview on July 16, 2007 and it was followed up by the Wall Street Journal on July 18.
In a July 16, 2007 article Michael Gartenberg details his switch to a Mac. He now uses an Apple MacBook running the latest version of Mac OS X (10.4.9) along with Windows XP Service Pack 2 via Apple's Boot Camp software and Parallels Workstation.
Apple will report Q3 2007 earnings following the close of the US stock market on July 25, 2007. A earnings call will also be conducted at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT.
In July 12, 2007 article, Thomas Claburn details how Apple site traffic surged 5% to a record 121 million unique viewers during the month of May. In fact, Apple demonstrated the most growth among tht top ten sites on the web.
