Modify a Spotlight Smart Folder
After you have created a Spotlight Smart Folder and have it sitting in the Finder Sidebar, you may decide that you want to modify or update the search criteria. You can do this in a few easy steps.
Open a Finder window and then click on the Action menu, then select "Show Search Criteria"

This will bring up the search settings. Simply modify the search criteria as you see fit. Then click on the Save button to preserve the changes.
